The GRR 50 rolling grill is in a league of it's own and beyond comparison due to the use of high-quality materials and a top class workmanship. It protects shopping malls and shop windows safely and reliably. It is also highly suitable for separation of stalls in buildings. Thes GRR 50:
- Consists of horizontal bars with an 8 mm round steel bar core, covered with small aluminium or optional stainless steel tubes
- Vertical connection of the bars is made with small aluminium lamellas
- Unfinished or anodised aluminium surface
- Also available with powder coating in any of the RAL colour range (Due to the way the system operates, wear traces can develop on colour-coated rolling grills. These will not be recognised as defects later.)
As a practical accessory for application in living or office buildings, Günther offers noise control frames as an option. This construction guarantees, that there is practically no transmission of noise and vibrations to neighbouring parts of the building. And therefore the opening and closing even in the close neighbourhood does not disturb.
High performance - exactly to meet your ideas
Special sizes are also made on request. Wider and higher dimensions are always possible. The tube roller of your rolling grill, which carries the heavy door curtain, is made from corrosion-protected steel and attached with maintenance-free self-aligning ball bearings. It is adapted to DIN 18073 for the production of your GRR 50 door depending on the door size. Deflection of <1/500 of the span width is ensured for this.
A further high-quality accessory is a shutter box in the form of a self-supporting sheet metal construction. The side mounted extruded aluminium rails guide the door curtain and ensure quiet running and low friction with the aid of integrated plastic sliding inserts. The guide rails are optionally available with powder coating in standard colours or special colours.

Rolling grills, drive unit and control form a reliable and safe unit. They are perfectly matched to one another. Your rolling grill comes with an electric drive, which is individually custom designed for the conditions in the installation area. Plug-in and chain wheel drive motors are available. High-quality consoles for standard or special applications are available.
The doors are operated either with a deadman control or in a self-holding operation. As an option, a microprocessor control with EEPROM is available (no loss of data in case of power failure), which can be adapted precisely to the needs of the building owner. Our wide range of accessories such as key switches, radio remote controls, safety sensitive edge systems, light barriers, induction loops and traffic light systems can be connected to these controllers.
On request we can provide you with additional matching side doors with facings for your rolling grill. It has high safety standards, including an integrated safety catch for plug-in drive units or a separate safety catch for chain wheel driven versions.
